Amber's Awesome Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Updated July 4, 2006

I got this awesome recipe from Amber, Skyler's soon-to-be wife. Amber only made a half batch test and when I went back for seconds, I found that Kevin had eaten what remained. Thus, I begged for the recipe. Since it was so awesome, I share it with you. Just beware of Kevin.

Ingredients:
Preparation:
Directions:
  1. Cream butter, sugar, and eggs together.
  2. Mix in milk.
  3. Pulse dry ingredients in a food processor or sift them together.
  4. Stir in a small portion of the dry ingredients at a time into the wet mixture until completely incorporated.
  5. Stir in the oats and chocolate chips.
  6. Drop approximately 1 ounce of batter onto a cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 8 minutes.
  8. Remove and cool on wax paper.
Notes:

Although the recipe calls for 1 ounce cookies, 1/2 ounce cookies bake just as well and can be eaten by the handful. Make sure to store these in an airtight container. Milk and butter can go rancid if they're left out. Rancid cookies are bad cookies.
