I'm a 21 year-old student of engineering embedded in the Southern California culture. That's right, I'm always in shorts, I wear shades almost everywhere, and I say "dude" and "awesome" more than is appropriate for one of my profession.
I grew up in San Diego. I had a great childhood with family and friends scattered through out America's Finest (if also most politically corrupt) City and its suburbs. Though many have moved away to bigger and better things, I still have a lot of friends down there and I look forward to joining them when I graduate.
Despite the in-borne coolness that is inherent in being a native born SoCal spirit, I am a geek. I admit this freely and if you've perused this site, you've probably realized this as well. I like to think that my two halves balance out in to just a normal person, but arguments can be made either way. I enjoy reading and writing, in addition to computers and science. I'm a waning artist to top it all off, the product of a mispent youth.
